Made the Old-Fashioned Way
Every bar of Backwoods Render soap starts the same way it always has — with rendered beef tallow, olive oil, lye, and fresh well water from the East Tennessee foothills.
We use the hot-process method, the same way folks made soap long before it came in plastic bottles. No shortcuts. No fillers. Just honest ingredients and hard work.
We're a small family operation, and we intend to stay that way. Every batch is made by hand, one bar at a time.
